Brief Itinerary:
Day 1 to 6: Your journey starts in Lusaka, where you will meet our driver to take you to Kafue NP, Zambia’s oldest and by far the largest park in Zambia. You will stay for 6 days at Kaingu, on an all inclusive basis, the ideal basis for your visit. The lodge offers game viewing, walking and driver trails, fishing and bird watching. Spending a night stargazing on huge granite outcrops and river-trails by rubber boats down the amazing channels and islands, with or without wild camping on the banks of the Kafue, can be part of the package as well.
Day 7 to 12: You will be driven to Lusaka airport where you travel to Mfuwe by plain, Zambian Airways. One of the our staff members will pick you up from the airport to drive you to Track and Trail River Camp where you will stay for the remaining 6 days of your journey. South Luangwa offers some of the best game viewing in Africa and is home to a large variety of game, especially for spotting leopards. The lodge offers gamedrives/walks, night drives and village tours. On the last day you will be transferred to Mfuwe airport again and I’m sure you will start missing this memorable experience already, but it will leave you with life-long memories.
